What is the process?
Consultation: Everyone is unique, so our Injectors at Cura Aesthetics will start with a consultation call to understand your goals and desired outcomes, along with your medical history to ensure you are a good candidate for the treatment.
Book your appointment: Based on this assessment, our nurses will create a personalized treatment plan for you and you can book your appointment.
We come to you!: This minimally invasive procedure is quick and requires little to no downtime, allowing you to return to work or your daily routine immediately after treatment.

How long does it last?
You will notice results as early as 24-48 hours after treatment, with full effects visible approximately 2 weeks post-treatment.
Results are not permanent, as your body naturally metabolizes the treatment. The aesthetic effects typically last around 3-4 months.

Risks and Side Effects
Side effects from botulinum toxin injections can vary based on the treatment area. Most are mild and resolve within a day or two. Possible Botox side effects include:
Pain, swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site
Flu-like symptoms
Headache or neck pain
Temporary drooping eyelids (ptosis)
Eye irritation or redness
How many units should I get?
For a youthful appearance, consider using 10-20 units for forehead lines and scowl lines to achieve smooth, balanced results. For crow's feet, 12-24 units can help soften fine lines around the eyes, while 4-8 units can treat bunny lines for a smoother nose area. To lift tired eyes, 4-12 units will rejuvenate the brow area. For lip lines or a fuller look, 2-6 units are effective. To address a dimpled chin, use 4-8 units, and for smoothing neck cords, apply 10-30 units. For hyperhidrosis, 20-50 units can manage excessive sweating.

At Cura Aesthetics, we charge $11/unit for Dysport, and Botox Cosmetic is available upon request. We require a minimum of 20 units for any appointment.
